PRIPARE Privacy Training Workshop
On 9-10 March 2015, the PRIPARE consortium will hold an interactive training workshop, to introduce participants to the privacy engineering methodology developed in the PRIPARE project. The workshop will include presentations combined with practical hands-on exercises in which participants will be given the opportunity to conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and to consider the use of privacy enhancing technologies (PETs).
The training provided will enable participants to become familiar with the state-of-the-art in relation to privacy by design (PbD), in both a theoretical and practical manner. Based on this training, participants will leave the workshop with:
- A knowledge of privacy requirements and legal frameworks;
- A broad overview of available state of the art PETs;
- An ability to apply best practice materials in their projects, systems, technologies and organisations
- Training materials to disseminate to colleagues.
The PRIPARE consortium would like to invite you to take part in this workshop, which will take place from 9.30am on 9 March to 3.15pm on 10 March, at Ulm University in Germany. The agenda for this event can be found here.
On the last day there will be a slot, where questions from workshop participants will be discussed. If you would like to have your question included, then please send it to pripare@uni-ulm.de
The workshop is free of charge.
