High Level Conference on the EU Cybersecurity Strategy
High Level Conference on the EU Cybersecurity Strategy will take place in Brussels on 28 February 2014. The Conference takes stock of the progress of the EU Cybersecurity strategy, in the first year after its adoption. It will provide information on the state of play of the implementation of the five main priorities of the Strategy and showcase highlights of the main actions in the Strategy.
The Conference will also represent an opportunity to explore the way forward regarding the Commission proposal for a Directive laying down measures to ensure a high level of network and information security across the Union and the next steps to foster trust in the public and private sector for the benefit of citizens and the Digital Single Market.
This one-day Conference is organised by the European Commission, in cooperation with the European External Action Service. Ms Neelie Kroes, Commission Vice-President for the Digital Agenda and Mr Maciej Popowski, Deputy Secretary General of the European External Action Service, will introduce the Conference.
All interested parties are invited to join the event. Please note that the Commission will not reimburse travel and accommodations expenses.
